DEPTH
I mentioned in yesterday's post how much I enjoyed participating in The Bethadilly Blog's photo challenges. And while I'm a little bit late to join the #TheBethadilly52 party this year, I figure better late than never, right? She published a photo prompt list last December + encouraged participants to post one photo a week on Instagram. I thought rather than share one single photo, I'd try to challenge myself to create a blog post using each of her prompts.
Today is the final day of Week 4, photo prompt, Depth. I think the apple orchard pics are my favorite. Which do you like most?

GET SUPERBOWL READY

GET SUPERBOWL READY
We are inching our way closer + closer to February 5th! Are y’all getting excited about The Big Game?! We certainly are. We are in the habit of liking individual players and therefore liking the team for whom they play. Dak Prescott is the perfect example of what I’m referring to. We like Dak – which equates to us liking the Dallas Cowboys. We were pulling for them to make it to the Superbowl this year but that didn’t work out like we had hoped.
But even though the team we were rooting for didn’t make it, we are still big fans of football + look forward to watching the Falcons beat the Patriots come February 5. #Ahem I’m not 100% sure if we’ll even host a Superbowl Party or not, but if we do, I’ve got the decoration details covered. I spent a little bit of time designing invites + a banner that I think turned out pretty cute for an occasion such as the Superbowl, or really anytime you’re up for hosting a football themed get-together.

Today, I'm sharing with you THE BIG GAME Invites + the GAMETIME Banner I designed along with some super simple things you can serve to make your Football Party a success. Let’s have a look, shall we?

Pretty cute, huh? Here are some tips on how to pull this off.

Decorations

Serve
  • Brownie Footballs. I used packaged brownie mix (this one) and store bought icing (this one).
  • Buffalo Chicken Bites with Blue Cheese Dip. (I purchased a large bag from Coscto.)
  • Green Apples
  • Popcorn
  • Sweet Tea

Enjoy + have a great time at your Superbowl (or football) Party!

A WHALEY CUTE CLASSROOM VALENTINE

A WHALEY CUTE CLASSROOM VALENTINE
Each year, Valentines Day rolls around + I get a bit stressed searching for an appropriate classroom valentine for my son to give his classmates. He’s a second grader this year and doesn’t really care for the “I Love You” or “Be Mine” Valentine Cards to distribute to his friends. So last week when we stumbled upon a Whale Valentine Card Kit at Paper Source, I got so excited. I hadn’t seen the really=whaley play on words before but found it to be super cute. We bought the kit + started craft the cards the next day.

And since I loved their idea so much, I thought I’d designed some of my very own Whaley Cute Classroom Valentines to share with y'all. I also did a little searching online + found whale cheddar cheese crackers, a perfect snack to pair with the printable, right?!

All you’ll need to do is:
  • Click here to download + print the Whaley Cute Valentine Printable. (Six per page.) I emailed the PDF file to my local Office Depot to have them print it on cardstock. The cost was $0.78 per page.
  • Cut out the Whaley Cute Valentine Circles using a 3″ circle punch.
  • Attach the Whaley Cute Valentine Circle to your gift of choice using ribbon or string of your choice. I purchased ours via Amazon.

Enjoy!

BRUMFIELD'S BELATED CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES

Monday, January 16, 2017

Both Wyatt + Delta Mae had singing performances scheduled in mid-December but due to snow and/or ice, both events were canceled. Luckily for us, they were rescheduled in January after the holiday break was over. Lucky for me, that is. I think they could've cared less about singing, unfortunately.

Oh well, they sure looked adorable. Let's start with Delta Mae's performance.
