and soon to be footballer.
We’ve described Wyatt as many things over his thirteen years and now, there are a few more to add to the list. While calling him a teenager seems strange, so does calling him a football player. It came as a surprise to us earlier this year when he said he wanted to give football a try this fall, rather than stay on the cross-country team. But we offered our full support, and this kid man-child worked-out six days a week this past summer, and he gobbled up all the food and protein shakes he could get in him. The payoff was twenty pounds gained and a shot at playing tight-end and defensive end for the 8th grade football team.
Musician is another way to describe him. Pretty sure this one will stick with him the rest of his life. He picked up the skill not even a year ago and continues to improve and impress us and everyone else who sees and hears him play and sing. This year, it only seemed right to bring his guitar and amp to the birthday photo shoot.
Things you like: The Office, saying “that’s what she said”, listening to Dad’s books on tape 😉, your guitar and your girlfriend. Happy 13th Birthday, Wyatt! We love you, Mr. Big Stuff.
