Here we are, about a week after our first snow of the season and we have even more snow to report. =) It began snowing a few hours prior to Wyatt's release from school this past Wednesday. I asked Delta Mae if she wanted to walk or drive to pick up her brother and she chose to walk, which was what I wanted to do as well.
Afte we collected Wyatt from school, we walked home together and I snapped the photo pictured above. I just thought it felt so magical, having the snow fall all around us. And snow is far more enjoyable than rain, right?!
That evening after supper, we all made our way to Palermo Park here in the neighborhood. Not too many of the pictures I took turned out very well, but I couldn't help but share these of Brad being a kid and having the best time.
Look at that smile. It was such a fun night.
The next morning, the school was closed so we had the whole day to play. We probably spend about two hours or so outside. These pictures might be very similar to the ones from last week, with two exceptions. First is that you can see that the children are becoming more and more brave while sliding down the hill. They would slide down backward and/or on their bellies. The second difference is that we have two sleds this time! Chicken's pink sled was delivered on the day of our last snow.
This is shaping up to be a great Christmas Break!
